Smile, it’s time to go to the dentist. Hands up if the dental appointment sends shivers down your spine?
It’s an uncomfortable, occasionally painful, necessity.
For me it’s the numbing injection just before the filling. Hypodermic needles shouldn’t go into mouths – it’s just not right!
But let me tell you things have hugely improved in the last year or so.
It’s still ouchy, but Llandudno Smiles Dental Practice really has made the twice yearly check up much more enjoyable.
It’s the dentist but not as you know it! I always say it’s like walking into someone’s lounge. It’s not white and clinical as you may expect but there’s colour and comfort everywhere you look. There’s relaxing music, comfy settees, squidgy cushions, inspiring wall art, books to browse and newspapers and magazines.
For the little ones, there’s a Where’s Wally corner with books and colouring, and if you can find Wally you’re more observant than me!
The staff are supremely friendly and always make you feel super welcome even at your most nervous.
A little while back it was their 1st birthday and they wanted to celebrate it by spreading the word around the community.
We didn’t discuss how much sugar was in the cake, but they loved it and it make a super celebration for all the staff and a nice splash in the local paper.
Alison and Ken Foxall and their white toothed team have done a grand job and we loved helping them celebrate their first milestone.
If your business has a milestone coming up, or you’d like to do something a bit different for your staff and customers, get in touch and we’ll make some plans. We’ve made all sorts of interesting cakes for business events.
