We’re always delighted when Stacey Foster, the Bank Manager at RBS Llandudno, has an idea. It’s usually a great idea and it often involves cake! This time it was cupcakes for Marie Curie.
Yesterday we spent a few hours in the lobby of RBS selling our cupcakes to support Marie Curie who provide exceptional care and support through terminal illness. The sun was shining in Llandudno so plenty of folk were strolling along the high street enjoying a lovely June day.
We baked fresh raspberry jam and lemon curd filled cupcakes. These flavours are always popular and went down a treat with the bank’s customers and passer’s by.
Big thanks to Stacey for inviting us and Jackie for helping out. It was lovely to see Sheila and Judith again who looked after me very well and are first grade cake lovers!
Sadly most of our families are affected by cancer and terminal illness these days. So we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Marie Curie, and other wonderful charities, who look after our loved ones with such care through difficult times. We were pleased to have played a very small part to help this great cause in Llandudno today.
Thanks to friends and colleagues who called by to support our event. We hope you enjoyed your cupcakes and look forward to seeing you again very soon.
I’m Judith. I’ve been caking since 2012. I also love to write, photograph, travel, drink coffee and read books. This is my cake blog where you’ll find recipes, and baking tips and all my latest cake projects.
