Our cakes have certainly travelled. We have sent cakes by car, ferry and train to central London, Gretna Green, Belfast and the West Coast of Ireland for birthdays, weddings and business receptions.
The furthest we have delivered a cake ourselves is Belfast for a special 70th birthday and it was a safe and happy journey thanks to the very nice people at EasyJet.
As long as your cake is packed safely, it can be taken anywhere you like.
We will happily deliver your cake for free within a rough 10 mile radius of Llandudno but will need to make a charge for delivery further afield based on time and mileage. We regularly deliver across North Wales and into the Chester area.
Once you have taken delivery of your cake, you should store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, in the box provided, but not in the refrigerator or freezer.
Cakes covered in sugar paste will keep for 7-10 days after delivery but would be best eaten sooner to avoid drying out. Cupcakes are best eaten on the day of delivery.
If you are transporting your cake to another venue, you should keep it in a flat fixed position in the car, out of the sun, and drive very carefully.
When you are setting the cake up at your event, make sure you have a solid table to display it.
