I was reminded this afternoon how much people love Llandudno. The town was buzzing and parking was a challenge, but it’s great to see so many visitors enjoying the sunshine, eating in our local cafes and spending money in our shops and businesses.
Just a few months ago, Llandudno was named No1 Seaside resort by Tripadvisor beating old favourites like Torquay and Blackpool down the list. And it’s easy to see why. We have a delightful town full of great hotels and B&Bs, activities, restaurants, beaches, shopping – what more could our visitors want?
Well there is something! You’ve heard of Airbnb – and probably used them. Well we’ve come up with Cakebnb …….
We’ve recently been working with a fairly new luxury holiday home in Craig y Don. The Nook, tucked away in Roslin Gardens, is run by Paul and Ruth Lloyd Williams. It sleeps up to 6, has a large sunny garden and welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes. You can find more details on Facebook
Whenever a new family or groups of guests is due to arrive, Ruth drops me a little message, and I deliver a box of cupcakes to welcome the new arrivals. So far they’ve gone down very well. I usually get the heads up of who is coming so I can personalise them and make them a real treat.
If you run a holiday rental, B&B or hotel and think that a box of cupcakes would make your guests smile and add some value to their visit and your business, then please get in touch.
We’d love to meet you, offer you some samples and talk about how we can help each other.
So don’t be shy! Let’s chat.
