Flavour menu

We are committed to authentic and delicious flavours.

Our cakes are freshly made to order using best quality ingredients. We use free range eggs, dairy produce, real butter, Madagascan bourbon vanilla, fresh fruit, and good quality chocolate.

Your cake or cupcakes will be filled or covered with creamy whipped buttercream in a choice of 10 flavours, before covering or topping with sugar paste to finish and decorate the cake.

We would like to introduce you to our 10 distinctive flavours that will be available all year round for our cupcakes – most of these flavours are suitable for your larger cakes too.

  • Spiced Carrot Cake

Portions

When deciding on your cake order, you need to know how many guests you are serving and whether you intend to offer slim wedding slices or full party portions.

For all your events we can provide an additional cutting cake alongside your decorated cake to help cater for all your guests. This may help you stay within your budget as you can order a smaller tiered cake with a plain cutting cake to make up the numbers.

We will advise you on the quantity of cake you will need for your occasion.

Tasting & consultations

When you order a Judith Bond design, we’ll arrange your Consultation and sit down over a nice cup of coffee. We’ll chat about your Big Day and come up with a design to suit your occasion and your budget.

Before we meet for your consultation, you can choose up to 3 flavours to taste so you can make your final flavour decision. You’ll be able to view our wedding cake portfolio, and discuss your design ideas. And here’s the best part – we bake your flavour choices fresh for your tasting, so you’ll know exactly how your cake will taste on the day of your wedding.

Please bring along anything that might inspire the design of your cake and help us with the design – such as your wedding invitations, colour swatches or table decorations. Pinterest and Instagram are both great places to get inspired with ideas that will help us make your wedding cake.

Pricing and Payments

All our designs for cakes and cupcakes are individual and freshly made to order. Your price will vary according to the design, size, and level of decoration on the cake and there may be a small delivery charge depending where you live.

We normally ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order. The final balance will be due 2 weeks before delivery of the cake. You can make payment via PayPal, BACS, cash or cheque and the payment details will be noted on your invoice.

Allergy information

Since December 2014, EU law has listed 14 allergens we need to identify if they are used as ingredients in our standard cakes. Of the 14 allergenic ingredients, we regularly or occasionally use the following:

  • This is found is our standard plain and self raising flour

  • Free range eggs are used in all our sponge cakes.

  • We use soya milk in our sponges.

  • We use ground almonds in some of our sponge cakes, and other crushed nuts for flavourings in our cakes and buttercreams.

  • We use in some of our sponges.
