What better way to celebrate your Wedding Anniversary than a delicious personalised cake. If you’ve been married for a while you might not remember what your wedding cake tasted like, so ordering a special anniversary cake is the perfect way to relive all those precious wedding memories. You could choose the same flavour as you had on the day, or have something completely different.

Here at JBC we’ve done everything from 1 year, to 60 years so here’s a little tour through our favourite anniversary cakes - each one lovingly personalised for the happy couple.

Happy 10th Anniversary

10 years is traditionally your “tin” or “aluminium” anniversary - metals to symbolise the resilience and strength that comes with 10 years of togetherness. B & H chose an ivory and red theme to remember the red rose bouquet from their wedding in Llandudno.

Happy Silver Wedding {25}

Mr & Mrs S chose shades of blue to reflect their wedding colours and we added silver accents for their 25 years. The cake was enjoyed by family and friends gathered from afar at Colwyn Bay Cricket Club.

We went fully bespoke with W&M for their silver wedding anniversary picking colours from the bouquet and the wedding date in pride of place.

Happy Ruby Wedding {40}

Aren’t these colours gorgeously vibrant? One of my favourite “stages” in decorating is creating a set of blended shades for my handcut flowers and stripes. With red, I was able to bring in shades of pink and white to make the whole cake pop.

Happy Golden Wedding {50}

Wendy & David wanted to remember their Big Day with family and friends, in shades of white and gold with a bold date at the front.

Mr & Mrs B chose a 2 tier sponge with handcut gold flowers to celebrate their anniversary in the magnificent Rydal Penrhos Osborn Hall with it’s vaulted ceiling, stained glass and parquet flooring. There’s more about this special event on the blog.

Mr & Mrs H got in touch about their double celebration of her 70th birthday and their Golden Wedding, So we did a matching combo for their big family get together

White on white with tiny silver accents made for the perfect diamond wedding anniversary cake.
